Another cookie recipe (GF)

Found another cookie recipe I really like today. It's from Paula Dean. I think the original recipe is meant to be for diabetics but it's flour free and as long as it's made with Gluten Free peanut butter, it's gluten free! And they are super tasty. I was surprised when I put them in my calorie program just how low in carbs they are. Pretty high in fat, but low in carbs! I still wouldn't go eating a whole bunch at 140-155 calories per cookie (I did 1c. splenda 1/3 c. sugar so mine were higher cal than all splenda would be. Even with the sugar they only had 5 g. carb per cookie, but 10 g. fat, and 5 g. protein) So without further ado, here's the link: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/claire-robinson/flourless-peanut-butter-cookies-recipe/index.html Here's another one, also from food network that looks really similar if you aren't worried about the sugar content since it doesn't have the splenda option. And the variations she has at the bottom look good too. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/claire-robinson/flourless-peanut-butter-cookies-recipe/index.html

I'm sorry. I wish I could 'make it all better' for you and your family. I know that isn't possible, but I pray for you guys because you and your family are wonderful!

Everyone in America should read "Don't Sing Songs to a Heavy Heart" by Kenneth C. Haugk. I'd love to see it read in Health classes in HS, too.
